One of the country’s premier institutions for graduate legal study, UCLA School of Law attracts elite students and scholars from around the world. The school’s globally renowned centers, programs and initiatives influence public debate both locally and nationally and help shape public policy in California and beyond.
Founded in 1949, UCLA Law is the youngest top law school in the U.S. In just seven decades, the school has built a remarkable reputation for its academic rigor and reach, as well as for the prominent alumni who have contributed to American life across multiple fields of endeavor. Our challenge was to create a magazine that could bridge tradition and innovation, showcasing the school’s distinguished track record of success while also capturing the restless energy that keeps it reaching for new heights of excellence.
We built a publication with dynamic page spreads that balanced UCLA Law’s impressive achievements with its ongoing efforts to do more. Headlines, personal profiles and photos offered readers multiple entry points to optimize the reader’s experience.
