As the first public law school in Southern California and the youngest top-ranked law school in the United States, UCLA Law has consistently pushed new boundaries in the study and practice of law.
UCLA Law has an international reputation for excellence in legal scholarship and training, placing it among elite U.S. law schools. Yet, the limited size of the school’s endowment and its reliance on shrinking state support impinged on its ability to compete with better-resourced peers. Our task: communicating this challenge through the production of materials to advance a record-setting $100 million campaign.
We articulated the need for stakeholder support through bold, straightforward storytelling that relied on first person narratives to help make the case. Leveraging the powerful stories of prominent school alumni, we successfully illustrated the impact of a UCLA Law education and the urgency of ongoing donor investment.
